About Laurie Marquis

I started with The Stevens Company in January of 2000, in the role of the receptionist, in our Brampton head office. Being on reception was a wonderful experience that gave me useful knowledge in customer relations and exposed me to the world of medical supplies distribution. Stevens gave me ample opportunity to learn and grow within the company, for which I am very thankful.

I was involved with midwifery when Stevens entered the market and was excited when I was given the opportunity to work in it full time. I was given a chance to put all of my expertise and knowledge to work, in a market which I was truly passionate about.

Now, a decade later, it still gives me great pleasure to be able to work with the wonderful people of the Midwifery Community.

The Stevens Company has been a pillar in the Canadian healthcare community since 1874 and stands as one of the largest medical supply distributors in Canada today. Originally founded in 1830 in London, England, the company is still owned and operated by the Stevens family, now in their 6th generation.
